- Request for Quotation The Government has a requirement to provide a centralized storage container where personal and/or government electronic items such as cellular devices can be temporarily stored in accordance with requirements established by the Deputy Director for Security, OUSD(AT&L). These containers will complement the already established mechanisms and procedures in place at the Pentagon, Mark Center and Suffolk buildings that, collectively, are intended to prevent RF transmissions from audio, video and electronic devices, both personal and government issued located in classified areas. These containers are intended to complement, not replace, the procedural safeguards already defined in local office and AT&L Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and unannounced electronic countermeasure sweeps as well as the established layered defenses already in place and overseen by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. Aside from actual structural safeguards and denied areas inherent to the Pentagon, Mark Center, and Suffolk buildings, these defenses include access control, personal identity verification, stationary and mobile armed guards, emergency security response teams and an embedded wireless intrusion protection system.
