- carpet base install drawing Solicitation Work includes, but is not limited to: contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision to remove 1,120 square yards of carpet tile and replace with 1,120 square yards of Government-furnished carpet tile, remove 1,250 lineal feet of vinyl wall base and replace with 1,250 lineal feet of contractor supplied vinyl wall base, including furniture and item lifting and moving. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Huron, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $150,000. Anticipated award date is May 15, 2015. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation GS-08P-15-VL-P-7008 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. A site visit is recommended. All those in receipt of the Government Documents are expected to safeguard the Sensitive but Unclassified information of this project in accordance with the "Document Security for Sensitive But Unclassified Building Information," GSA Order, PBS P 3490.2, dated September 2, 2014, which PROHIBITS the COPYING, DISSEMINATION, OR DISTRIBUTION OF THESE DRAWINGS, PLANS, OR SPECIFICATIONS TO UNAUTHORIZED USERS. Information regarding a site visit can be found in the attached document. A site visit is recommended. Please see attached solicitation document for a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, description of requirements, and applicable provisions, clauses and addenda.
