- Description
- The NATO International Staff (IS) has announced a procurement action to award more than one framework agreement for the provision of Communications Services (CS). The successful framework agreement holders will be offered an opportunity to compete for future CS task orders in supporting the efforts of NATO's Public Diplomacy Division during the effective period of the framework. Detailed instructions about the preparation, submission, and evaluation of proposals are provided in Part 1 of the Request for Proposal (RFP), which is posted on the NATO IS Business Opportunites website: https://www.ebidexchange.com/NATO Bidders will be evaluated on the documentation submitted, their oral presentation, and their financial proposal. The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose proposal represents the best value after the evaluation in accordance with the factors and sub-factors specified in the solicitation. Bid Proposals due: 18 May 2015 at 15:00 Brussels time Final selection and Contract Award: July 2015 ACCESSING THE RFP The NATO BizOpps Portal is a tool for accessing document packages relating to business opportunities issued by the NATO IS in Brussels, Belgium. The business opportunities relate to a wide variety of goods and services, including IT services, construction, facility management, maintenance, and consultancy services. RFPs are posted on the NATO IS Business Opportunities website: https://www.ebidexchange.com/NATO A Vendor Quickstart Guide is available on the right side of the webpage. If you are new to NATO HQ procurement procedures, please see the General Terms and Conditions, Frequently Asked Questions, and Procurement Manual, which are available here: http://www.nato.int/structur/procurement/index.html# Participation in these opportunities does not involve pre-approval by the U.S. Government. Interested firms complete the website registration process online. Once the vendor registration process has been completed, firms will be able to participate in business opportunities by following the procedures specified in the documentation. The registration approval process may take 1 - 2 working days. If you want to participate in a procurement action that will expire within that time frame, please contact the NATO official responsible for the relevant procurement action in order to expedite the approval process. When a new business opportunity is posted on the NATO BizOpps Portal, those vendors that have shown interest in the categories and geographical areas relevant to the business opportunity will be informed through an automatic notification message generated by the portal and sent to the e-mail address specified in the vendor's registration form. However, vendors are advised that NATO does not provide a guarantee regarding the proper operation of the stated notification process. It is the vendor's responsibility to visit the site periodically in order to verify if there are new business opportunities or changes to existing opportunities. NATO accepts no liability or blame for damages to any person or business entity due to a NATO BizOpps Portal website malfunction.
