- PWS This is a Small Business Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of small business sources; (2) whether they are small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code (337214) should not submit a response to this notice. The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) is conducting a market survey to help determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, HUBZone small businesses; service- disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses capable of providing the supplies and services identified in the attached PWS. Background: The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) office at San Diego, California is relocating to a commercial leased space approximately three miles from their current location. Furniture and appliances are required for the new space as well as the relocation of property items and disposal of existing furniture. Scope: The project shall consist of space design including development of drawings, furniture/cubicle and appliance purchase and installation, electrical and minor plumbing connections, property relocation and disposal of excess furniture. This source sought is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a 100% SB set aside competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 09:00 AM (EST) 15 April 2015. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the supplies and services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide the required supplies and services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB.
