Description

This contract is for the construction of approximately 3,470' of aggregate trail and related items. The trail is primarily composed of a 6.5' to 8' wide graded surface of crushed rock, rest areas with benches, culverts, and signposts. There is one fish passage culvert, which has a timing window restriction of July 15 to September 15.There are two option items: removal of old trail planking, and construction of 2 rest areas. SOLICITATION DETAILS. The following preliminary details are provided for the benefit of prospective bidders, but are subject to change in the actual solicitation. Estimated price range: between $100,000 and $250,000. Contract type: firm-fixed-price. Period of performance: 365 Days. Solicitation type: Request for Proposal. Bid opening date: 30 days after solicitation issuance. Contract award date: within 60 days after bid opening. Required bonds: bid bond with the bid and performance and payment bonds after award of a contract. Do not ask questions until after the solicitation is posted.
