- MALET MTS-B Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) Laser Spot FA8620-11-G-4050-001516. This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Medium Altitude UAS Division, AFLCMC/WIIK, intends to award an order on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company pertaining to MQ-9 MALET MTS-B Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) Laser Spot. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Raytheon is sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of capabilities essential to the MQ-1 Predator and the MQ-9 Reaper system and has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own the data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 336411. Please indicate number of employees relative to the size standard of 1,000 for determination of small business status. Responders shall include their assigned DUNS number and their Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code.
