Description
NSN 0Q-2530-123914603-SX, REF NR 114570, QTY 25 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. Solicitation Number: N00383-15-R-P138 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Schopf Maschinenbau GMB (C2489) Germany for the purchase of various items in support of support equipment. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced contract. This contract will include the purchase of the following NIINs: 123912588, 123914603, 123915956, 123915957, 123915958, 123916445, The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Schopf. Schopf is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above repair part. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Mrs. Christine Pennington, Contracting Officer, Code (N762.06), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Schopf will be solicited on or after 09 APR 2015 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
