- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project that involves furnishing all equipment, materials, labor, incidentals, and performing all operations required for providing a new service riser, relocating the service equipment on a new support structure, and installing new conduit and wiring. The work is located at the Lower Mon Area Office (LMAO) near the entrance of Charleroi Lock and Dam. Address: 1811 Schoonmaker Ave., Monessen, PA 15062. All material provided in the performance of this requirement shall be new. Coordination of all work with the local power utility company will be required. All requirements for the power service shall be in strict accordance with all requirements of First Energy. The service is 600 Amp, single phase, three wire, at 120/240 volts which is fed from a 100KVA utility owned pole mounted transformer. Power service shall be maintained at all times during the work. This may be accomplished through use of an appropriately sized standby generator or other temporary means. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement will be advertised as a Total Small Business Set Aside. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately March 26, 2015 online through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the statement of work and drawings will not be honored.
