- This notice has been modified to correct the reponse date and specify that this requirement is for hand thinning. The Forest Service intends to award five-six contracts under a multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to perform tree hand thinning and slash treatment on the Coconino, Kaibab, and Prescott National Forests, for a five year period. These National Forests are located in northern Arizona within Coconino and Yavapai Counties. Task orders under this contract will include tree hand thinning and/or piling. This solicitation is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Award will be based on best value selection with technical, past performance and price as evaluation factors. A TWO-DAY SITE VISIT TOUR IS SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 9-10, 2015, which will start on the Prescott NF and end on the North Kaibab Ranger District. Interested vendors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit. Solicitation will be issued/uploaded on FBO on or before March 31, 2015.
