- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT APRIL 10, 2015. DESCRIPTION: The Umatilla National Forest is in need of ATV Trail Restoration on the Walla Walla Ranger District. Project is for the restoration of 4.17 miles of existing ATV trail and 0.83 miles of single track motorcycle trail. Work consists of log out, brushing, drainage structure restoration, rock removal, berm and slough removal, switchback restoration, and rolling grade dip construction. Project is located approximately 24 miles southeast of Walla Walla, WA via Mill Creek Road - to FSR 65, Tiger Canyon, to FSR 6511, Government Mountain Road. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P). There is no official site visit scheduled. When solicitation is posted contractors are urged to view the site on their own. Project is estimated between $25,000 - $100,000, Davis Bacon Wage Rates apply. Project is set-aside 100% for Small Business.
