- THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) (AIR 2.5.1.6), Patuxent River, MD 20670 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis Solicitation N00421-15-R-0038 with Tevet LLC, 1113 Tusculum Blvd, Suite 108 Greeneville, TN 37745. The PSC Code is 6695. Keysight Technology is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the equipment listed above and Tevet LLC is the only authorized distributor to sell the equipment. The equipment is required for replacement of damage units or fleet deficits that are either no longer reliable or beyond economic repair. In addition, there are no other model numbers that can replace the intended because of the systems they support. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under statutory authority of Citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. While this notice of intent is for information purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability, respond to this requirement, and may submit information, which shall be considered by the NAWCAD. The Government retains the right not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice.
