- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties that the Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) anticipates issuing a solicitation to procure uniformed unarmed Access Control Officers and Escort Support Services. All Access Control Officers and Escort Support positions require unarmed personnel that MUST possess a minimum Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) prior to award of any task order(s) to perform duties associated with SCIF access control, personnel security, force protection, and security system monitoring and response. Contractors are not authorized to handle or use weapons. Contractors shall designate site/location supervisors to act as the on-site liaison between the INSCOM MSC Contracting Officer (KO) Representative (COR), or alternate, and the Access Control or Cleared Support Escort Personnel. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561612. This a competitive set aside for award to an 8(a) concern. This effort is for a five (5) year twelve (12) month base period with four(4) one year twelve month option year. Contract award is anticipated on are about 2 July 2015 with a 30 day transition period to start work on or about 2 August 2015. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on FBO.gov on or about 6 April 2015. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by INSCOM. The solicitation will be posted in its entirety at this website.
