- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Test, tear down, and evaluate, radar altimeters, part number 101808 (Quantity -53 each). This requirement is sole sourced to Northrop Grumman Corporation, 17066 Goldentop Rd., San Diego, CA 92150-9066. This request is sole sourced due to unique capability. Northrop Grumman owns the proprietary rights to this radar altimeter and there is no other approved vendor that can provide the test, teardown, and evaluate the radar altimeters. Any firms believing that they can provide this service may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the item without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
