- The 56 th Contracting Squadron Luke AFB intends to issue under FAR Part 12 a sole source purchase order to Gaumard, 14700 SW 136 th Street, Miami, FL 33196, to provide Trauma HAL® and SUSIE® which will be used to provide training for an Advanced Life Saving class associated with the 56 th MDG/SGSM. These specific manikins run off the specific computer system already installed at the medical facility and will provide the training instructors with adequate resources to instruct on numerous scenarios. The proposed contract action is for medical supplies for which the government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) - Soliciting From a Single Source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Responsible sources may submit a written narrative statement of equivalent manikins with the capability of operating off of the current system installed and all of the manikins' features. To be considered an affirmative response, offerors must provide sufficient information to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Responses without the sufficient documentation noted above will be considered non-responsive. Telephonic or faxed responses will not be accepted. All responses received by 1630 MST, Monday, March 30th, 2015 will be considered. The responses will be accepted by mail or e-mailed to A1C Justin Mroz at justin.mroz@us.af.mil. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
