- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (10N3\NCO) intends to award a sole source contract award to General electric company, 3000 N Grandview BLVD W-443d, Waukesha NY 53188. The Period of Performance for Contract Award will be eleven (12) month. This requirement is for service contracts service/maintenance of equipment and software for the below equipment: GE Vivid 7 Systems ID: V77310 GE ECHOPAC WSSystem ID :EPPC2493 GE ECHOPAC WS System ID: EPPC2552 GE CT LIGHTSPEED RT 16 (16 SLICE) System ID: 631261CTRT GE VIVID q System ID: VQ50839 GE Vivid E9 XD Clear 4D System ID: VE9007370 GE TEE PROBESystem ID: VQ50839TEE NAICS: 811219/Size Standard: $20.5M Services shall be performed during the VA normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays. Equipment located at Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768-2200. General electric company is the sole provider and since GE has the proprietary right for all of these equipments. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by March 18, 2015, 12:00 p.m. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Safa.Shleiewt@va.gov.
