Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation VA244-15-R-0431 The Louis A. Johnson (LAJ), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center desires to lease approximately 9,000 - 10,000 net useable square feet of warehouse space. Both existing and built-to-suit properties will be considered for use by the government for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The property must be in Harrison County West Virginia preferably within five to ten miles from the Louis A. Johnson, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. The space must be on the first floor, compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Besides shipping and receiving areas, the space will also include: Telephone/telecommunications closet, offices, cubicles, toilet room, clean and dirty storage and lounge. Parking, both handicapped and regular must be made available. Convenient access to public transportation is a plus. The lease will be a full service lease to mean all utilities, security, telephone, janitorial and all season landscape with a term of ten (10) years, (5) firm This is a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP). Any and all interested parties are encouraged to submit a response of interest no later than 4/3/2015 by US mail or other express delivery to Stacy Schwalbendorf, Erie VA Medical Center, 135 E. 38th St., Erie PA 16504. If acknowledgement is not received within 5 days of submission, please call Daniel Young, Engineering Technician, LAJ VA 304-623-3461 Ext 3916 for assistance. A pre offer meeting for serious offerors will be held at the LAJ Clarksburg VA on March 20, 2015 at 1pm.
