- This is a Sources Sought Notice (Request for Information). The Government intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for title evidence for the US Army Corp of Engineers, Rock Island District. Calls will be placed against the BPA as supplies as required. The work to be done under these specifications consists of furnishing and delivering Owner's Guarantee (Insurance) Policies or Certificates of Title and Continuations thereof in the form of preliminary, interim or final policies. USACE, Rock Island District Real Estate will require a Preliminary Commitment, a Date Down and a Final Title Policy including the appropriate liability. Additional intermediate updates may be required if the situation warrants. Period of performance will be for three years from the date of contract award. The associated NAICS code is 541191 and the proposed requirement will be issued as a small business set-aside. Interested parties shall reply to Rock Island District Contracting Office VIA EMAIL to Carissa.j.needham@usace.army.mil. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. Indicate your interest and/or ability to provide the required title evidence NO LATER THAN 03 APRIL 2015, 10:00 AM Central Time. Vendors must be able to provide 100% of the item(s) listed to be considered for this BPA. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as defined by FAR 13.303(a) is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing quote mark charge accounts quote mark with qualified sources of supply. The award of a BPA does not guarantee nor obligate the Government to any orders to a BPA holder in any way. When a requirement for supplies listed within the BPA arises, the Government shall compare prices of all BPA awardees and select the BPA holder that offers the best value to the Government. This should not be construed as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a purchase order on the basis of this sources sought or otherwise pay for information solicited.
