Description

STATEMENT OF WORK Brand Name or Equal. Meet or Exceed. FOB Destination 1.GENERAL INFORMATION A. Introduction This Statement of Work is for the replacement of one (1) Trane ten-ton Air Conditioning (A/C) unit located at Building 44 on the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (SAVAHCS). The existing unit A/C is not functioning at this time and is beyond economical repair, and serviceable life. B. Background Building 44 on the SAVAHCS campus is tasked with storing Emergency Management (EM) equipment, and emergency food. It is important that the air conditioning for this building work to protect (EM) equipment and food stuffs. This A/C unit was installed approximately eight years ago. The system has been repaired several times. At this time, parts are not extremely expensive and the cost to buy new unit system would be more economical than continued repairs, temporary repairs on this system are no longer feasible. C. Definitions/Applicable Documents/NA D. Scope The scope of this project is to provide a new Trane 10 ton Trane A/C to the Westside of Building 44 SAVAHCS personnel will install. 2. WORK REQUIREMENTS A. Technical Requirements. Contractor is responsible for: 1.Furnish a Trane 10 ton Trane A/C unit. 2.The work will be performed by experienced and qualified SAVAHCS technicians during normal working hours. A.Deliverables: Contractor will provide material to meet the necessary requirements. 3. SUPPORTING INFORMATION A. Place of Performance: SAVAHCS, building 44 Tucson Arizona 85723
