- Market Survey for NSN 8030-01-551-9719 DLA Troop Support is seeking industry feedback from interested parties concerning the manufacture of a Sealing Compound, nickel-filled, electrically conductive, polythioether-based sealant containing calcium chromate, with the following technical characteristics: NSN 8030-01-551-9719 Classification Code: 80 NAICS: 325520 "Adhesive Manufacturing" TEMP RATING 250.0 DEG FAHRENHEIT PHYSICAL FORM PASTE QUANTITY WITHIN EACH UNIT PACKAGE 3.500 OUNCES SPECIFIC USAGE DESIGN CORROSION PROTECTION FOR ALUMINUM ALLOYS AND BETWEEN DISSIMILAR METALS FEATURES PROVIDED SEPARATE CATALYST RATED DRYING TIME 12.000 HOURS NOMINAL SPECIAL FEATURES NICKEL FILLED; ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE; POLYTHIOETHER; FUEL RESISTANT; 1 HOUR WORKING TIME; SERVICE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF MINUS 67 DEG F TO PLUS 250 DEG F; STORE BELOW 80 DEG F COLOR BLACK MATERIAL RUBBER SYNTHETIC SUPPLEMENTARY FEATURES 3-1/2 OUNCE IN 6 OUNCE CARTRIDGE All interested parties are advised that this is an information gathering survey only. This is not a solicitation and the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice. Any information or pricing received will not be binding. The anticipated acquisition will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Any resulting solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Negotiation by Contracting. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this item is not available from DLA. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate by email to nate.prattico@dla.mil, or by fax at (215) 737- 3112 or in writing to: DLA Troop Support ATTN: FCFB-Nate Prattico 700 Robbins Avenue Building 3 Philadelphia, PA 19111 The contractor will be required to manufacture this item, conduct acceptance tests in accordance with the technical performance specification, and satisfy the Government's substantial delivery requirements. Responses to this survey must include documentation citing the following: -Contractor's experience demonstrating the capability to meet the Government's requirements in producing products that meet all performance requirements, and that are physically and functionally interchangeable with presently identified item. -Quality Standard (Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. -Past Performance for the same or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. -The contractor must provide information to show it possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable it, or its subcontractors, to meet production delivery requirements for these items.
