- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office - Bogota has a requirement to provide a back up generator system and build its installation structure at Tumaco, Nari o, Colombia. The Contractor and their subcontractors shall comply with Colombian Safety regulations and laws. Where project activities are not governed by Colombian regulation, the contractor shall comply with safety and health requirements as established by EM 385-1-1, by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A complete and detailed description of the project will be included in the actual solicitation. Contract award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect Engineer Contracts. The prospective contractor MUST be registered in the System for Award Management. The solicitation is projected to be posted on ASFI/FBO nd the U.S. Embassy - Colombia contracting websites on 30 Oct 14 or thereafter. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
