- Public Announcement of Intent to Purchase on a Sole Source Basis. The Government intends to procure a printed and online subscription for SAE Digital for the Air Force Library's. NAICS: 519130, FSC: 7630, SIZE STANDARD: 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is the SAE Digital. The proposed action is to acquire electronic and printed material for one (1) base year (1 JAN 2015 - 31 DEC 2015) and two (2) additional option years: year 1 (1 JAN 2016 - 31 DEC 2016) year 2 (1 JAN 2017 - 31 DEC 2017). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The Government will consider any responses received within 5 days of issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government will not pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
