Description
Brand Name Justification Pricing Matrix Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FBI_Police_Uniforms and it is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement will be solicited as a brand name only total small business set aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-78. The applicable North American Industry Classification System NAICS) code is 448190, Other Clothing Stores and the size standard is $20.5 million. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Operational Support Contracts Unit, Chantilly, VA intends to establish a single award, firm-fixed price type BPA for Police Uniforms. A description of the brand name items required is attached to this RFQ and is labeled as Uniform Pricing Matrix. Evaluation and Award Methodology: Acquisition of items will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to base award determination on the offer that provides the lowest quote to the Government. Quoters are advised that the Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of any contract, by entering the potential awardee DUNS number into each database. Failure to complete the registration will result in elimination from consideration for award. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS: Quotations must be received no later than 10:00a.m. EDT on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. The anticipated date of award will be approximately February 23, 2015. Quotations will only be accepted by email. All quotations must be sent in.pdf, or.docx format only to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Brian Chrostowski at brian.chrostowski@ic.fbi.gov. Include the following in your subject line: Quotations submitted in response to FBI_Police_Uniforms. Quotations must include all documentation to support quoter's ability to provide the requested items. Quote MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of RFQ. Questions regarding this requirement must be emailed to the Contracting Officer, brian.chrostowski@ic.fbi.gov no later than 10:00a.m. EDT on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Questions will not be addressed via telephone.
