- RFI Information This is a request for information. It is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to: (1) Obtain information on the process and supplies required to collect, remove, and dispose of Category A Ebola waste at U.S. international airports (with a specific focus on the following five airports: ATL, ORD, EWR, JFK, and IAD). (2) Obtain information on the capability and capacity to provide Category A Ebola waste collection, removal, and disposal at U.S. international airports (with a specific focus on the following five airports: ATL, ORD, EWR, JFK, and IAD). (3) Make use of this information to inform acquisition strategies that may be used to support preparedness and response to public health emergencies requiring the use of Category A waste management at U.S. international airports.
