- This acquisition is procuring a High Speed Digitizer board for use in a new Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectrometer. The new spectrometer will have a unique architecture and promises to offer greater flexibility than either commercially available systems or research systems seen in the literature to date. Of particular importance in this application is the requirement for a high speed digitizer board with a robust capability to average successively acquired EPR signals. The additional capability to perform on-board background signal subtraction is also highly desirable. Both signal averaging and background subtraction will result in a substantial improvement in data quality and reduction in measurement time.
