- THIS NOTICE IS POSTED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY: THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE FOLLOWING CONTRACTORS AWARDED A CONTRACT UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER W912EP-10-R-0023: Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, LLC (W912EP-11-D-0004); Weeks Marine, Inc. (W912EP-11-D-0005); Manson Construction Company (W912EP-11-D-0006); Dutra Dredging Company (W912EP-11-D-0007); Cashman Dredging and Marine Contracting Company (W912EP-12-D-0003); PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS INCLUDED IN THE Group 1 Dredging MATOC Pool. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work consists of maintenance dredging Cut-1N of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel to a required depth of 49 feet plus 2 feet of allowable overdepth and Inner Channel Ranges C and D to a depth of 44 feet plus 2 feet of allowable overdepth. The combined project work will hereinafter be referred to as the Entrance Channel. The excavated material will be distributed among the North Beach Disposal Area (D/A-NB), the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Disposal Area (D/A-N), and D/A-F. Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring, and sea turtle non-capture trawling. A pre-proposal teleconference will be held on January 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. COAST GUARD CERTIFIED VESSELS ARE REQUIRED. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 16 December 2014 and proposals will be due on or about 15 January 2015. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA); the technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance. The request for proposal will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
