- LANDSCAPING/GROUNDSKEEPING SERVICES NOTICE DATE January 21, 2015 NOTICE TYPE: Pre-solicitation Notice NAICS: 561730 -Seasonal property maintenance services (i.e., snow plowing in winter, landscaping during other seasons) Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815 Norfolk, VA 23510 The Department of Commerce, NOAA, National Geodetic Survey, Norfolk, Virginia, is soliciting a requirement for grounds maintenance services. Award of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purchase order of the service agreement will be a Total Small Business Set Aside in accordance with FAR 6.203. The associated NAICS code is 561730. The small size standard is $7.5 million. The Federal Supply Class is S208. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is March 1, 2015 through November 30, 2015 (award will include three option periods). This contract may be established to satisfy the requirement on a temporary basis until the required services can be added to the AbilityOne Procurement List. If these services are added to the Procurement List, then the option years will be awarded directly to an AbilityOne contractor in accordance with 14 U.S.C 46-48c. Solicitation number EA-133W-15-RQ-0186 will be issued January 21, 2015 via FedBizOpps at www.FBO.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be provided on the Internet using the same protocol listed above. The solicitation will close February 10, 2015. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering past performance and price specified in the solicitation. Site visits shall be arranged prior to February 3, 2015. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. To be eligible for award, vendors must obtain a DUNS number (this may be done by calling 1-800-333-0505) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM): www.sam.gov. The anticipated award date is on or about February 11, 2015. Contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
