Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The VISN 17 Veterans Affairs (VA) Heart of Texas Health Care Network has a requirement for space, equipment and medical staff capable of supporting telemental health services. Offerors shall have existing space, equipment and support staff located within the VISN 17 demographic region for VA patients to utilize in order to telecommunicate with their VA providers. Awardees will not be providing any mental health treatment to patients and will not have access to any patient records and VA systems. The solicitation will contain requirements for one 12-month base year and four 1 year option periods. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621420 with a size standard of $15 million. The solicitation is full and open and multiple awards will be considered. Offers will be evaluated on technical ability, past performance, and price. Services are scheduled to begin on April 1, 2015 (or date of award). The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about January 23, 2015 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
