Description
Project Desicription/Synopsis The work involves A/E design and construction administration services (CA) for the recordation, abatement and demolition of Buildings 801, 806 and 871 at the Edison Job Corps campus. The project shall consist of the following: HABS III recordation, historic narrative report, interpretive sign design, HAZMAT survey and report, NEPA scoping and report, design, construction documentation and construction administration for the abatement and demolition of Buildings 801, 806 and 871. Estimated Value Between $100,000 and $250,000 Sources Sought 1. Previous Project of Similar Scope and Value A. The Architect/Engineer (A/E) has performed at least one recordation project, historic and NEPA studies and reports, interpretive signage design and has consulted with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) within the last five years, indicating familiarity with Section 106 consultation. Provide previous project examples. B. A/E has provided both design and CA services on at least two projects encompassing demolition and hazardous materials remediation. Provide previous project examples which shall include the location of the project, the project owner, brief and concise description of the project scope, specialty design consultants employed, a comparison of the construction budget versus construction award value, the final contract amount, and a brief and concise description of the CA services provided. 2. 2. Project Location A/E has completed at least one recordation project in the Northeastern United States in the last five years, indicating familiarity with the state historic preservation requirements. Provide the project location of previous project examples. 3. Capacity for Future Work A/E must be in sound financial standings and have the staff load of qualified individuals capable fo undertaking this project. Provide a staff load matrix showing all current and backlog work and a short narrative describing how this project will be accommodated based on the current and project work load. 4. Small Business Certification A/E shall provide small business certifications and set-asides with response. 5.
