- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement for market survey information only and will be used for planning purposes. No quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the capability to provide the below product description. Business concerns in NAICS code 335311 - POWER, DISTRIBUTION, AND SPECIALTY TRANSFORMER MANUFACTURING, with a size standard of 750 employees are encouraged to submit a capability package. Small Businesses must comply with the Non-manufacturer rule in FAR Part 19 which states that a contractor under a small business set-aside or 8(a) contract shall be a small business under the applicable size standard and shall provide either its own product or that of another domestic small business manufacturing or processing concern (see 13 CFR 121.406). The capability package for this sources sought market survey are not expected to be quotes, but rather statements regarding the company's qualifications to provide the end product. It is asked that interested parties respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: 1) Company name, location, CAGE Code 2) Socioeconomic Status in NAICS Code: 335311 Comments regarding this sources sought notice are encouraged. Responses to this sources sought notice are requested no later than 1300 hours, 28 January 2015 via email to Susan Hill at: susan.m.hill@usace.army.mil Product Description: Uninterruptible Power Supply The 30kVA UPS unit must have the following specifications/requirements: a. True On-Line, Double Conversion b. IGBT Front-end Rectifier Input Power Factor greater than 0.99 c. Input Current THD less than 3% d. 208V 4-wire input (Single input), 208/120 4-wire output. Lug sizes: A/B/C/N - No. 2 AWG and G - No. 6 AWG. e. 100% Unbalanced Load, 100% load step Capability f. 90% or better efficiency over wide load range g. Extra battery cabinet to maintain an overall 15-minute runtime at full spec load (0.9 PF). h. Fully rated SCR Static Bypass Switch i. Touch Screen Display j. Internal communication slot for REIII SNMP/Web-Based Monitoring interface k. Free standing floor mounted with top, bottom, and side entries for ease of installation l. Matching dedicate make-before-break floor-mounted maintenance bypass cabinet to allow the unit to be taken out for service without impacting the loads. Labor: Since this will be a direct replacement for the same size UPS, the installation will be plug-and-play and no electrical alteration and/or upgrade will be required. The purchase is for a complete turn-key delivery, installation and start-up (testing) of a 30kVA UPS in Savannah, Georgia - Inside-delivery (for all components) to the UPS final location - UPS installation (to house power source and batteries connection) and start-up by manufacturer certified technician (upon delivery of UPS).
