- N0016415RGR66- CONSTANT ROLLING CONTACT APPROACH TO REPLACE BRUSH TECHNOLOGY IN AN/SPS-49 SLIP RING ASSEMBLIES- FSG 58- NAICS 334419 Anticipated RFP issue date 11 DEC 2014- Anticipated closing 13 JAN 2015 Time- 2:00 PM EST This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division has a requirement for a constant rolling contact approach to replace brush technology in the AN/SPS-49 Slip Ring Assemblies. CLINs are listed below. CLIN 0001 - First Article AN/SPS-49 Slip Ring with Rolling Contact (Including 0001AA Preliminary Design Review, 0001AB Critical Design Review, and 0001AC First Article Unit) CLIN 0002 - AN/SPS-49 Slip Ring with Rolling Contact CLIN 0003 - Technical Data Package CLIN 0004 - Data A 5-year Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract is anticipated. Final inspection and acceptance will be at destination by a team consisting of NSWC Crane technical employees. First Article Testing will be completed by the Government at NSWC Crane. First Article shall not be waived for any reason. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer represents the best value to the Government considering Technical, Past Performance, and Price Related factors. Due to the nature of this procurement which requires first article testing and manufacturing the AN/SPS-49 Slip Ring with Rolling Contacts, it would not be in the best interest of the Government to issue multiple awards. As a result, the Government intends to award a Single Award Contract. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government(s) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 11 December 2014. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the FBO website at http://www.fbo.gov, for no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid electronically using any "Submit Bid" feature or other electronic means does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person or in the correct format. Furthermore, each interested vendor shall monitor the FBO website for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. Closing date will be on or about 13 January 2015. When the solicitation is available, all responsible parties may submit a proposal for this procurement which will be considered by the Government. This is not a Request for Proposal.
