- Description
- Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) awarded a follow-on contract to Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company for technical engineering services and hardware. From FY15 through FY17, this procurement will provide systems engineering services to support the integration of the TRIDENT II (D5) missile and reentry subsystems into the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) for the OHIO SSBN Replacement and United Kingdom Successor programs. This includes program management and facility design activities for the SWS Ashore facility. Through FY19, the procurement will also provide hardware deliverables in support of the CMC effort and required Special Test Vehicles, Test Instrumentation, and Mechanical Support Equipment. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company under Contracts N00030-10-C-0043, N00030-12-C-0058, N00030-12-C-0100, and N00030-14-C-0013, which SSP awarded using other than full and open competition.
