Description

In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposals, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to the Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification. NAICS Code 339112 applies. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking potential sources capable of providing a detection system which can detect sponges, towels and gauze in patients during surgery in order to avoid foreign materials being left in patients. Please include the following in your response: 1.Information on your product and the associated disposables such as gauze, sponges and towels 2.Please include information on how your system detects the disposable 3.Please include information on installation and training of staff 4.Company name, address, contact person name, phone number, email address 5.DUNS # 6.Business size/classification/type (i.e. 8a, Hubzone, SDVOSB, VOSB, etc.) 7.NAICS code 8.State either you distribute or manufacture these items.
