- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement to purchase 3 commercial grade disposers as follows: Quantity of (2) Commercial disposer with 6 quote mark opening, continuous feed 7 HP motor in Single Phase 208/230 volts, minimum of 1100 RPM, 60Hz., 36.0/33.0 amps. Quantity of (1) Commercial disposer with 6 quote mark opening, continuous feed 7 HP motor in Three Phase 208/230/460 volts, minimum of 1100 RPM, 60Hz., 25.0/23.6/11.8 amps. All commercial disposer motors shall be equipped with manual reset overload protection in motor and permanently lubricated bearings. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 14 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 14 day time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov.
