- Request for Qualifications This Request for Qualifications is Phase 1 of a two-step solicitation to select a Contractor for the Exhibit "Deep Time" at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, Project # 1300103. Under this RFQ, the Smithsonian Institution will pre-qualify a shortlist of construction firms to submit proposals for this project. This Request for Qualification ("RFQ") is being released at the 65% design phase and is intended to expedite the bid process and selection of a construction contractor. Phase 2 of this procurement will be an RFP numbered F15SOL10010, tentatively planned for release in February 2015. The contract award is anticipated in July 2015. Questions are due November 21, 2014.
