- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall furnish equipment with operator on an "As-Needed", requirements basis for Cherokee National Forest, South Zone Engineering. The types of equipment required include: backhoe/front end loader (2), bulldozer, dump truck, vibratory rammer, motor grader, chainsaw, and track mounted hydraulic excavator. Work will be directed by Task Orders issued throughout the performance period of the contract. A requirements contract will be awarded from this solicitation. There is no guaranteed minimum order. All identified quantities of work shown on the solicitation are ESTIMATED and are not guaranteed to be ordered. Performance period is one year from date of award of contract. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $25,000 and $150,000 PROJECT LOCATION: Various locations within the administrative boundaries of the Cherokee National Forest on the Tellico and Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger Districts, in Polk, Monroe, and McMinn counties Tennessee. SET-ASIDE: Project is 100% set aside for Small Business. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-15-0003 and related documents, will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about November 24, 2014 at the website address www.fbo.gov. Registration in the System for Award Management is not required for submission of a quote; however, registration must be completed within 5 days of notification of award. Access SAM at www.sam.gov/; registration is free. NOTE: Issue and Response dates on Solicitation may vary from those posted in this pre-solicitation notice.
