- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC), Training Systems Division (TSD) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order to Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles (OSV) a division of Pierce Manufacturing Inc, 12770 44th St N, Clearwater, FL 33762, on a sole source basis as the only supplier and manufacturer of the listed item. However, interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which demonstrates their ability to meet the needs of the Government. Interested sources are encouraged to submit a quote. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Combined synopsis/solicitation N61340-14-R-2426 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect from regulations posted to http://farsite.hill.af.mil inclusive, but not limited to, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) number 2005-76 effective 25 July 2014. The associated North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 333924 (Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing ) with a size standard of 750 employees. This procurement is to purchase: CLIN 0001: TFPS CH-47 Shelter part number 10299 Enclosure system requirements shall include a Factory Acceptance Test and delivery to NAWCAD-Simulation Division. All components of the Enclosure System must be ruggedized to survive deployments of the simulator. In addition, the enclosure must provide 317 ¾ W x 317 ¾ L x 196 H of interior space, an Environmental Control system for extreme conditions for both equipment and the shelter environment (separately controlled), a fire detection system, lightning protection system and 40KVA Uninterruptable Power Supply.
