- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION AFTC/PZIE, Eglin AFB, Florida, intends to ENTER INTO A NEW SOLE SOURCE Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with ViaSat Inc., El Camino Real Carlsbad, CA 92009. This contract will provide spare parts and consumables, technical support and repairs of parts for use within the Communication, Navigation, and Identification Function Simulator (CFS) of the F-35 United States Reprogramming Laboratory (USRL). Subject contract is anticipated to be awarded on or before 2nd Quarter FY15, and have a base period of performance through 2nd Quarter FY18 (approximately 36 months). Contract cap is set at $790,000.00. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 334511, with a size standard of 750 employees. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
