Description
INDIANA WARFIGHTER FULL FOOD SERVICE SYNOPSIS - Small Business Set-aside after Randolph Sheppard review The USPFO for Indiana intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a single firm-fixed price award for full food service during the Warfighter exercise being held at Camp Atterbury, IN. Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center (CAJMTC) is a training facility located in Edinburgh, Indiana, operated by the Army National Guard. Contract meal support is required to support soldiers and civilian personnel participating in WFX 15 training at CAJMTC. Period of Performance is 02 January, 2015 - 28 February, 2015, however, this time includes set-up and tear down time. Actual meal serving days will be 3-4 weeks after varying personnel strengths with the max personnel strength at 3,000 for contract meals. An additional 1,500 personnel will be on post, and may choose to dine at a contracted Dining Facility, at their own expense. Three dining facilities will be operated during performance of this contract. Building 727 (King Hall), and building 350 will be open for four meal serving periods. The North Post DFAC will be open for breakfast and dinner meals for personnel departing the North Post prior to shift change. The North Post DFAC will serve approximately 550 meals for breakfast and an additional 550 meals for dinner. All meals may be prepared at any single Dining facility (DFAC) location and delivered at the vendors' expense to other DFAC sites. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about November 10, 2014. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for November 17, 2014. Details for the site visit are as follows: 1.1A MANDATORY SITE VISIT will be conducted on November 17, 2014 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time for the purposes of briefing on the proposal requirements, answering questions regarding the solicitation, and touring the facilities that are involved in the performance of this requirement. This meeting will start in Bldg 244 Eggleston Rd, Purchasing and Contracting, Classroom, Camp Atterbury, IN 46124. Interested Contractors are required to attend due to the complex nature of the requirement. 1.2Admittance to Camp Atterbury can be gained by bringing your valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and vehicle proof of insurance. You will need to inform the gate that you are there to attend a one-day site visit for the Warfighter Food Service Solicitation and your POC is Erica Copeland, Purchasing and Contracting. Each passenger will also be required to show valid government id. 1.3Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. 1.4A record of the site visit shall be made and furnished to all prospective offerors via posting to our web site at https://www.fbo.gov. The record will include minutes of the meeting, including questions (on a non-attribution basis) and answers. 1.5Directions to Bldg 244 are as follows: Enter Camp Atterbury Main Gate entrance, after clearing security checkpoint; proceed around quote mark S quote mark drive and through quote mark Clamshell quote mark shelter. Go straight down Eggleston Rd until you reach 4th Street and turn left. Bldg 244 is on the corner of Eggleston and 4th. You will park on the east side of the building and enter through the east side door. Once through the door, the classroom is straight ahead. IMPORTANT FACTS TO REMEMBER FOR THE SITE VISIT: DATE: Monday, November 17, 2014 TIME: 9:00 AM EST LOCATION: Camp Atterbury, Bldg 244 Purchasing and Contracting INFORMATION FOR THE GATE: Erica Copeland, Purchasing and Contracting, Warfighter Site Visit, Valid Gvmt ID for all people, Vehicle registration and proof of insurance for the vehicle. POC EMAILS: erica.t.copeland.civ@mail.mil REMEMBER!!!! There could be multiple activities going on base that day, give yourself plenty of time to get through the front gate and to Bldg 244. DO NOT FORGET YOUR GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID. The solicitation closing date is scheduled for on-or-about December 12, 2014. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. All information, amendments and questions concerning this solicitation will post to FedBizOpps www.fbo.gov.
