- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP05151400018 for the provision of Mobile MRI Services to be performed at the for the general inmate population incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at Texarkana, TX. The services will be performed on-site at the FCI. The contract will require an estimated 10 sessions (a session being defined as approximately 8 hours in duration during which time MRI procedures will be performed for approximately 10-15 inmate patients) per each 12 month contract period. The resulting contract will include a base year with four (4) additional 12 month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. Services will normally be scheduled between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., Sunday through Saturday, excluding Federal holidays. A schedule may be mutually agreed upon between the government and the successful contractor. The applicable North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621512, with a small business size standard of $15.0 million. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations may submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or about November 19, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated deadline for receipt of quotations is December 19, 2014.
