- Statement of Work Wage Determination for employees Combined synopsis solicitation • Remove existing data plates and all safety markings/decals • Remove all wooden deck material • Remove existing paint by sandblasting metal frame of trailer and tire rims • Replace all removed data plates and apply all required safety markings/decals • Replace wooden decks, use hardwood material, treat using guidance from MIL-HDBK-1223 and obtain a suitable pretreated hardwood material from local commercial market. The pretreated hardwood material obtained commercially shall be material that is normally used in commercial industry for flooring trailers. Apply a medium coat of bituminous paint, MIL-C-450 to undersurfaces of wood floor decking. NOTE: The wooden decks will not be replaced with "Rumber" material. • Prime coating for the MIL-PRF-85285D, Type II coating system, will be applied in accordance with the coating manufacturer's instructions. Paint color will be full gloss dark green, color number 14052 of Federal Standard 595. NOTE: For environmental and bioenvironmental reasons the automotive industry does not normally use paint containing lead. For that same reason, lead based paints must not be used when repainting Air Force vehicles.
