- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical Requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted. This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a sole source purchase order to Jesse Engineering (Cage: 13303) under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and incorporates provision and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The contractor identified above is the only known source that can meet all of the requirements. This is not a "Full and Open" competitive solicitation and quotes are not being requested from vendors other than Jesse Engineering. The determination to compete, or not compete, this requirement is solely at the discretion of the Government. Description of requirement: One (1) Manual Pipe Bending Machine. The project will include IUID Tag, Tooling, Technical Manuals and shipping to Mechanicsburg, PA. The estimated release date of the Solicitation will be on or about November 12, 2014 with the anticipated closing date of December 12, 2014. The anticipated award will be made as a firm fixed-price contract. The Performance period is 112 calendar days after receipt of order. FOB: Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Solicitation will be available via the DLA "DIBBS" at: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Choose the RFP you wish to download.
