- Description
- This is a notice of intent that the AFLCMC/WLSK Warner Robins, GA anticipates issuing a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corporation to procure C-5 Software Update 02 (CSU02) to address Flight Management System (FMS) Deficiency Reports (DRs). This contract will be for a two year basic period of performance one (1) out year option, with a 12 month period of performance for a total of 3 years, assuming the option is exercised. Option I will consist of System Integration Laboratory (SIL) Maintenance and Engineering Support Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs), both with a period of performance of 12 months each. This contract will contain a combination of Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) CLINS. The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of Product Software Updates for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Cage Code: (98897), in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a). The anticipated release date of the Request for Proposals to FedBizOpps (FBO) is 24 November 2014. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
