- Solicitation Offer and Award Document SF 33 RFP# JFK15RFP0023 This is a request for proposal. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts located in Washington DC is providing this announcement to solicit a fixed price federal contract for Housekeeping and Related Services. In compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.203, this requirement will be sought as a competitive set-aside to qualified, eligible 8 (a) firms. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720 and the Small Business Size Standard is $18 million. The contract's period of performance is a base period plus four (4) one-year options, if exercised and subject to the availability of funds. The potential firms must be a certified 8 (a) small business with the Small Business Administration (SBA) at the time of its written offer. The housekeeping services shall be performed in accordance with Kennedy Center quality standards and requirements as outlined in the attached solicitation documents. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, staff, equipment, materials and supplies as necessary to provide these housekeeping and related services. Services are typically to be provided on a seven-day per week schedule. The Kennedy Center will plan a onetime site visit at 10:00 on November 13, 2014. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is electronically available at www.fedbizopps.gov This fedbizopps site provides instructions for downloading the RFP. There will be no offerors list established for this solicitation. The RFP due date is December 8, 2014. The period of performance start date is anticipated to begin February 1, 2015.
