- SPMYM1-15-R-0001 This requiremnt was previously synopsized as solicitation number SPMYM1-14-R-0002. The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a firmed fixed price contract to procure two (2) Fiber Reinforced Polymer Arch-Type Rubber Marine Fenders, also known as composite submarine camels, which will protect Navy submarines from Shipyard piers. The submarine camels shall be fabricated in accordance with Naval Facilities Engineering Command drawings and, upon completion, shall be approximately 36 feet wide by 18 feet high by 17.625 feet deep.
