- Request for Information The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide fully automated closed caption videos for NGATube. The purpose of this request for Information (RFI) is to gain information on current industry practices that would meet NGA's requirement. NGA requires closed captioning for our videos on NGATube, the intranet video streaming site that resides on our closed and classified internal intranet system. NGA is also requesting closed captioning of live footage that is being fed to NGATube and other closed circuit televisions throughout the agency. The system does not have any outside access to the Internet. The end goal is to identify possible software solutions that will fully automate closed captioning of videos with minimal human intervention. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, NGA at this time is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI - all costs associated with this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Requested Information: PLEASE SEE ATTACHED RFI DOCUMENT
