- RFQ SPE1C1-15-Q-0072 MARINE CORPS RUNNING SUIT - PANTS This is a RFQ NOTICE and the RFQ is included with this NOTICE. The RFQ issue date is 7 NOVEMBER 2014 and the closing date is 24 NOVEMBER 2014. The RFQ, SPE1C1-15-Q-0072 is utilized for the purchase of item Marine Corps, Running Suit - Pants. A Request For Quotation is issued for the purchase of the Marine Corps, Running Suit - Pants; NSN: 8415-01-550-1677(s). The proposed RFQ contract is for a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, which will result in a firm fixed price fixed quantity contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Procedures. This proposed buy will result in a negotiated definite quantity type contract. DLA Troop Support is buying a quantity of 3,067 PR. You will be required to submit a SAMPLE to our office for evaluation before going into a full scale production if your company receives the award. Delivery is required 30 DAYS AFTER AWARD. Acquisition is FOB Destination to SD0131, TRAVIS ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND, 2301 E ST ELMO RD BLDG 2 SUITE 220, AUSTIN, TX 78744. Availability of RFQ, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. SPECIFICATION: Specification: FQ/PD-08-06 dated June 17, 2010. Specification will be included at time of solicitation (RFQ). An advanced copy of the specification can be obtained by E-MAILING the Contract Specialist, Jerry Woods, at Jerry.g.Woods@dla.mil. Solicitation (RFQ) will be posted on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfq/. Detailed system requirements and Instructions for registration can be found on the DLA DIBBS Home Page accessed on https//www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/default.aspx. User guides and webinars are available under the Help tab. https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1 The defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
