- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall perform road maintenance service as needed on Forest Service roads on the Cherokee National Forest, North Zone. A firm fixed price, indefinite quantity, requirements contract is expected to result from this solicitation. Work will include road reconditioning, restoring ditches, removing, cleaning, and installing culverts, installing silt fence, seeding and mulching, clearing and grubbing. Incidental items of work include painting and repairing gates, installing signs, and installing furnished guardrail. Contractor will be paid at quoted pricing for actual work performed as assigned through Task Orders. More than one award may result from this solicitation. Performance period will be for one year from date of award. SET-ASIDE: Project is 100% set aside for Small Business. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $150,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Watauga and Nolichucky Ranger Districts, Cherokee National Forest, including Greene, Cocke, Johnson, Sullivan, Carter, Washington, and Unicoi counties, Tennessee. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-15-0005 and related documents, will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about November 24, 2014 at the website address www.fbo.gov. Registration in the System for Award Management is not required for submission of a quote; however, registration must be completed within 5 days of notification of award. Access SAM at www.sam.gov/; registration is free.
