- AG-3604-S-15-0005 SOLICITATION PACKAGE The USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Station intended to award Purchase Order No. AG-3604-P-15-0001 on a Sole Source basis to Brookhaven Instruments Corporation (DUNS = 061936159) under the authority FAR 13.306-1 (b)-- Soliciting from a Single Source; and FAR 6.302-3-Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services. Sufficient competition has been established, therefore, a solicitation package is provided for the instrument under Solicitation Number AG-3604-S-15-0005. The contractor shall provide a NanoBrook Omni Submicron Particle Sizer (DLS) and Zeta Potential Analyzer (PALS) with Autotitrator and Computer. The instrument shall provide the capability to perform the following: surface charge; functional group; particle size measurements of lignosulfonate, cellulose nano crystals (CNCs) and other particles, polymeric, and protein (such as cellulose enzymes) materials; and utilization of lignocelluloses for biofuel and bioproduct development. The NAICS Code for this project is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. The contractor is a small business concern.
