- The contractor shall provide support to the Virtual Instructor Project (VIPr) development team in support of VIPr Phase 4/Version 1 development and test. The contractor shall participate on the development team in the role of Fire Control System (FCS) subject matter expert engaging directly in the day to day activities of the AGILE team* as capabilities are added to the VIPr product and tested. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
