Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, Ann Arbor, MI intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the following items listed below. The associated NAICS code for this SECURITY SYSTEMS SERVICES is 561621. The vendor, Security Corporation., is a large businesses, located at 22325 Roethel Drive, Novi, Michigan 48375-4710. Description of equipment requirements: Repair and rebuild the Hirsch Velocity Database. The contractor will work within Police Services and Facilities Management to coordinate the rebuild and repair in a timely manner. The repair and rebuild will consist of exporting the existing Hirsch Velocity Software Data, technical services for the Velocity System rebuild to include; corruption cleansing, removal of eight (8) existing non-supported Latronix Network interface modules and repair or replace two (2) SNIB2 Secure Network Interface Board. The Purchase Order will include all labor to program, test and reinstall the Velocity Software. A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This is not a Request for Proposal; this is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source requirement.
